Pocketnow's source has taken some photos of not yet officialy announced HTC Incredible. It's packed with Android 2.1 and HTC Sense, Snapdragon processor, 256 MB RAM, 3.5-3.7" WVGA screen (probably AMOLED), optical mouse pointer, and dual LED flash. There are few speculations about the possibility that Incredible is Bravo in reality, over on Phandroid. From the attached video, you can see that the device is really, really fast.

It is now possible to explore new set of historical aerial images, taken over European cities during World War II, via the historical imagery feature in Google Earth. They can now be compared directly to images from the present day.
To access all the imagery for yourself, and compare to the present day cityscape, click the clock icon in the top-level toolbar to activate a time-line in the Google Earth display. Move back in forth in time by dragging the time slider from left to right or by clicking the back/forwards arrows.

Software bundle is really rich, as you can see from Sony's press release. Windows Mobile 6.5.3 brings support for capacitive screens, multitouch, and more finger-friendly layout.

HP has just made new Elitebook models 8440 and 8540 available for purchase. They really are mobile workstations, providing robust mobile power.
Both notebooks are available in P (pro) and W (workstation) versions, with Intel® Core™ i7 Processors with Turbo Boost Technology. The screens are LED backlit antiglare, a rare thing nowadays. W versions pack powerful NVIDIA Quadro graphics with upto 1 GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory. Elitebooks are backwards compatibile with older 6910/6930/8510/8530 docking stations.
The 14" model 8440 is the first W notebook with this display size supporting Display Port for digital video output. Available with 1600×900 resolution.
The 15" model 8540 has 3x USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0 ports along with Display Port for digital video output. Available with 1600×900 resolution.
But, wait, we had WSXGA+ anti-glare 1680×1050 resolution on previous generation models 8510w and 8530w !
So HP actually gave us less pixels and as much as 150 pixels less in vertical resolution ! For mobile workstation every pixel in vertical counts. Are we supposed to watch 16:9 movies on $2,000 notebooks?
