It appears that bluebox Ai is responsible for future version of iPad customized for airline travel. The iPad devices will give passengers the full iPad experience including access to iPad games and apps, iBooks, consumer magazines offered through Zinio and airline-specific custom applications.

HTC history

Two weeks ago, HTC was hit with a lawsuit from Apple, claiming that HTC is infringing on 20 different patents related to the iPhone and mobile computing.  It’s no secret that HTC is one of Apple’s biggest threats to the iPhone market with its Windows Mobile and Android lineups.

Since news of the lawsuit broke, HTC has been pretty silent on the matter.  The most we have heard from them were short statements about how HTC is an innovative company and that they would stand behind that innovation.  Today, HTC has finally issued a formal response to Apple’s action and that “HTC disagrees with Apple’s decision and would like to reiterate their commitment to innovation.”

"HTC disagrees with Apple’s actions and will fully defend itself. HTC strongly advocates intellectual property protection and will continue to respect other innovators and their technologies as we have always done, but we will continue to embrace competition through our own innovation as a healthy way for consumers to get the best mobile experience possible. From day one, HTC has focused on creating cutting-edge innovations that deliver unique value for people looking for a smartphone. In 1999 we started designing the XDA The O2 XDA by HTC was the first 3.5-inch color touch screen smartphone in the world in 2002. and T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition The T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition by HTC was the first 3.5-inch color touch screen smartphone in the United States in 2002., our first touch-screen smartphones, and they both shipped in 2002 with more than 50 additional HTC smartphone models shipping since then."

Novothink Solar Surge

Good news for all iPhone and iPod Touch users. Well, not for all, because only 3G and 3GS versions of iPhone and 2nd generation od iPod Touch are supported at this time. Now you can charge your devices on the go via solar panels attached to the case of your device. Case itself has integrated battery, and you can charge it with or without connecting the device. Very useful, especialy if you are lost in some African desert, or stranded on some tropical island. You won't get network coverage there, but at least you can listen to music and play games until help arrives :-)

Apple iPad

Apple has just announced a new product that bridges the gap between iPhone and MacBook. We expected a lot from Apple's tablet, but instead got a pretty simple device. Check out the specs of the new device on the market – iPad. Key points are:

  • 9.7" display with 1024×768 resolution
  • Dimensions: 243×190x13 mm, 680-730 grams
  • WiFi + 3G
  • 16/32/64 GB Flash memory
  • Not a real computer – multitasking filed under "?"
  • Runs all iPhone apps either in native or double resolution

To sum it up – we are not impressed.

Apple announced new models including the new, mightier Mac mini. It looks like we’ll finally be able to play 1080p mkv content. Quick specs of the entry model:

  • Dimensions: 17×17x5 cm (same as the old one)
  • Processor: Intel Core2Duo @2.26GHz
  • Up to 4GB of RAM
  • Ports: FW800, GLAN, 5xUSB
  • Display out: Mini-DVI port, Mini DisplayPort
  • NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
  • Superdrive

The drawback is of course the price of Something2HDMI adapters and modern LCD TV-s do not have this proprietary ports that Apple likes to give us a headache with…
