Apple iPad

Apple has just announced a new product that bridges the gap between iPhone and MacBook. We expected a lot from Apple's tablet, but instead got a pretty simple device. Check out the specs of the new device on the market – iPad. Key points are:

  • 9.7" display with 1024×768 resolution
  • Dimensions: 243×190x13 mm, 680-730 grams
  • WiFi + 3G
  • 16/32/64 GB Flash memory
  • Not a real computer – multitasking filed under "?"
  • Runs all iPhone apps either in native or double resolution

To sum it up – we are not impressed.

Well, it is a 10″ netbook without a keyboard. Reminds me of something from the past:

Actually it isn’t a netbook as netbooks multitask and have a proper OS. It’s just an oversized ipod touch. It doesn’t have usb ports , it doesn’t have a pcmcia slot, it doesn’t have a proper CPU, it doesn’t have a camera. What else? Oh! it has a compass in case u get lost in the woods walking with your oversized ipod. It has a capacitive screen which on one side is good cause it’s responsive but not a really good screen if you wanna draw on it(so it’s not good as a tablet pc either).
