Really funny video, shows Rfiddler devices in action, destroying RFID.

Codeninja developed this gadget that emmits a strong electromagnetic field which destroys sensitive electronics in RFID chips and some electronic devices (like usb-sticks).

All you need is to buy a plastic gun, some leds, an old mp3 player, microcontroller and "optional" LED display. Important notice, there is no touch screen (capacitive nor resistive) :)

Tracy and Matt have published on their blog really interesting Nokia N900 unboxing video. All that they have received is the large black plastic monolith with minu USB connector. Puzzle for real geeks. Inside there is a brand new Nokia N900 with Linux Maemo OS and accessories. Although excelent OS comming from Nokia, in next year rumors are that there is only one additional Maemo device that we can expect. Soon more on N900.

Stella Artois has teamed up with mobile augmented reality firm AcrossAir to launch a mobile app that lets drinkers find their nearest Stella-dispensing bar.

The app, which will be launched this week according to VentureBeat, will allow users to find nearby bars from Stella Artois' 80,000-strong database, simply by waving their cameraphone around in the air.

Stella Artois augmented reality

It's one of the first big-brand AR apps, although Stella isn't alone in looking to make the most of location-based mobile technology.

Guinness launched a Pub Finder iPhone app earlier this year, while Beck's launched an app focusing on music gigs. Both used location-based technology and maps, rather than AR.

The Stella deal is a good win for AcrossAir, which has previously released AR apps Nearest Tube and Nearest Tweets. It also teamed up with Burton to make a (non-AR) app focusing on the Movember charity movement.

As we promised, we bring you more info on HTC Legend. In fact, we present you exclusive crystal clear image of the upcoming Android phone from HTC. We suppose it will replace Hero, considering the dimensions, screen size and specs. Besides the AMOLED HVGA screen (16 million colors) it features optical mouse (or should we say optical trackpoint?). Legend will probably be announced in Barcelona (World Mobile Congress 2010) and hit the streets (or mobile operators) in march 2010. It certainly does resemble the Hero, but Legend will have metallic frame and will also feature updated versions of HTC People and Footprints. Let's not forget LED flash, something the Hero really misses, and a 600MHz processor. Green bottom is probably going to change… What do you thing on Legend vs Bravo ? Will you even consider HVGA after WVGA and Bravo appear ?

Update: Specs sheet is now correct, the screen is HVGA !

Pico projectors are not that new to the market. Early problems with poor battery life, luminescence, and resolution have been solved sufficiently, and these devices have matured into something worthwhile of your attention (and your money :)).

They exist in two forms: external and integrated. External version is pocket version of pico projector that can be connected to any device that you have adapter for. Integrated version is, of course, integrated into one specific device.

Few days ago, LG has announced its GW820 eXpo smartphone with integrated pico projector. Few months ago, Nikon has unveiled Nikon Coolpix S1000pj camera, also with integrated pico projector.

But, the one you should go for is WowWee Cinemin Swivel Pico Projector. It can be used with your iPod, iPhone, PSP, digital camera, portable DVD player, netbook, smartphone, or any other device with video-out functionality. Just connect your device to the Swivels' easy-to-access AV-in jack, and you're ready to project. Swivel uses Texas Instruments' DLP projection technology that projects pictures in resolution of 480 x 320 (HVGA) pixels to a crisp 60-inch image from over eight feet away. But, all of this is worthless if you don't have the juice. Swivel has a rechargeable battery that lasts over two hours, and includes an AC adapter, giving you the option of running it off any standard electrical outlet.

Just imagine all the things you can do with one of these babies: presenting your business ideas, watching movies with friends on-the-go, showing your holiday photos to everyone (yikes :)), hosting a karaoke party… Possibilities are endless.

Have you figured out what you want for this Christmas?

SmartAlarmThere are thousands of alarm applications, but this one is original. If it is suddenly snowing it is smart enough to receive a information for weather conditions and wake you early in order to compensate for your morning snow cleaning activity. Keep your BMI as it is supposed to be :)

Smart Alarm adjusts your wake up schedule for this snowy day, along with other unfortunate bouts of weather. You set the time that you’d like to wake up at, and it starts polling the local weather services. If it finds that you’re about to get shafted by a barometric shift, it’ll wake you up early to try to compensate.

But I can hardly beleive that there is possibility to compensate for weather like this (Ice Storm over Geneva
