  • It looks like a good phone to me. I was wondering how to use the “middle” button, it looks like a cube. compared to my “Alias” (Which I hate), this phone is like jesus.

  • I have this phone, bought 2 weeks ago with the exact same build (i guess). I really like it – very fast (except in the home screen sometimes), very responsive, amazing screen, very good on-screen keyboard, nice bundled softwares, comfortably slim, very pleasant to use… oh, not to mention the incredible battery duration (3-4 days with normal use).. .
    That’s a great phone!

  • my question is are we having an upgrade on wm6.5.1 or was that just for cooked roms, but all in all its the best wm phone out there

  • Looks great .. I’m just not one for all the waiting. It has been released for months now in other countries. Where is ours? I’m about to say “screw it” and get something else. The waiting has caused me to loose my excitement. Anyone heard when this is going to grace us with it’s presence on Verizon?

  • I had this phone (2 Gig) for about three days and indeed it is the best phone I ever had. However, the Accelerometer refused to work and I had to return it. Has anybody had this problem? The processor is little slow for an 800MHz phone but that is alright. Its Wi-Fi radio is not as strong as I would expect in logging on to the internet. However, it is still acceptable. I am still going to get the same phone later on. I cannot stand HTC HD2 because of its large size and most importantly its battery life.

  • 800 mhz? That is slow. Arent there rumours about that the iPhone fourth generation will have a 1 GHZ cpu?

  • about the perfomance, don’t forget that you can choose how fast you want your phone to go. None of this was shown in the video. Samsung has chosen a lot of options for every user. The phone performance settings that lets you choose from low to high performance and you can also choose how sensitive it is to the touch. Like I said, this is the best phone in the business.

  • I have the Omnia and to be honest these screen shots don’t impress me. It looks just like the Omnia with Ms Mobile 6.1. The problems I have are the e-mail always wants to run all of the sendmail headers and the Opera browser does not multi task well. WIFI is good. EVDO and the phone is good. The 5 MP camera is okay but zooming pixelates.

  • The guy in the video: Is he new to touch screen phones? He doesn’t seem very good at finger gestures. An experienced touch screen user knows the kind of “feel” to provide the phone for good response. It just seems like he’s struggling in certain areas like the widget bar, he uses his fingers all weird. Maybe it’s because he is avoiding using his thumb for the sake of the video?? I don’t know. Just bothers me to see this guy struggle with something so easy. My Omnia 2 is far more responsive and doesn’t lag any where near that much.

  • Omnia 2 is rumored to come out December 2nd with the latest WM version. I was wondering the same thing about the guy, lil hard to get the battery cover off?? I am excited to see how this compares to the Storm 2 for features, should be a huge diifference b/c of the responsive screen, if you text in a quiet place the Storm (1 or 2) is terrible. That music is definitely from a 70’s porno
