One of the most widely used UI replacements for Windows Mobile devices today is SPB Mobile Shell. If your device is not packed with TouchFlo3D (HTC) or TouchWiz (Samsung), you are left with dull and pointless Windows Mobile default UI. The guys at SPB Software House have recently announced a new and improved version of this UI replacement.

ai.rs blog exclusive

Uveiling of Windows Mobile 6.5 will give us the opportunity to see wonderful new devices on the market – starting tomorrow. On of the most anticipated is of course HTC Leo, and according to our trusted sources, HTC Leo will be officially announced on www.htc.com tomorrow (6. october 2009.). However, this will not be the launch date for Leo, and we’ll have to wait until the end of october/start of november. That of course doesn’t mean that ai.rs readers will have to wait that long. We will have extensive video review during the following weekend.

Our coverage of this HTC flagship model started on 21. july with full specifications. It was followed by first accurate renders, and then a whole bunch of high quality photos and large number of screenshots. The real star was of course Leo on video (currently offline). Stay tuned for video review by the end of the week.

Update:

Final name is definitely HTC Touch HD2, and final ROM should be ready on 16. october.

We just may see the coolest Android phone yet – Motorola Tao (aka Sholes, aka Droid). Verizon could help Motorola to get back on track, and we feel that this device is exactly what they need – the most powerful Android device on the market.
