Korean designer Rhea Jeong has sent in images of her ‘Void’ LP player concept. The record player uses a carrier and dock outfitted with a magnetic and auto-calibrating control system which carries the LP into thin air as it is playing music. a self-running record player shaped in the form of a red sphere, contains a needle, amplifier and speaker, spins around the record, bringing the music to life. the sphere that plays the vinyl was technically influenced by the Vinyl Killer, currently the world’s smallest LP player that has a built-in motor, amplifier and speaker.
Simple colors and shapes express a kind of astronomical movement between the object and space. the levitation is managed electronically. once turning the player on, you can manage the elevation levels through the touch sensors on the front side of the base unit.

This is by far the most devious way to annoy the hell out of your coworkers. This small device, when armed and hidden, generates very short and VERY annoying beep every couple of minutes. With its thin design and embedded magnet for easy hiding, the Annoy-a-tron can be placed in a variety of locations. Select one of the three sound choices (2 kHz, 12 kHz, or alternating) and push the switch to the on position. Place it in a proper hiding spot and let the “fun” begin.
Your unsuspecting target will have a hard time ‘timing’ the location of the sound because the beeps will vary in intervals ranging from 2 to 8 minutes. The 2kHz sound is generically annoying enough, but if you really really want to aggravate somebody, select the 12 kHz sound. Usage consists of three simple steps:
Turn on
Hide it
Muhahuhahaha
Becouse of the very short sound, your collegues will have trouble to find it, even better if you hide couple of them. It will run for 3 to 4 weeks on a single battery (going on holiday?).
