It seams that the year of 2009 will be Application Store Year. After a huge success by Apple, and announcements from Nokia (Ovi Store), Microsoft, PocketGear even Acer is looking to get into the game in order to support the new models. According to Mobile Entertainment, Acer reiterated its commitment to the smartphone market with four new handsets, and a pledge to launch a ‘double-digit’ device range in 2009. The new phones are code-named F1, L1, C1 and E1.
